Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SafeStream — our website, mobile apps, and the AI curator service (together, the "Service"). They are a contract between you and SafeStream LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Qatar ("SafeStream", "we", or "us"), the operator of the Service. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

SafeStream is designed for parents and guardians. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children use the Service only through a library that a parent has approved.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity on your account — including activity by children and other family members you allow to use it.

Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Every SafeStream plan starts with a one-week free trial. No credit card is required to begin the trial. If you do not subscribe, the account simply stops at the end of the trial period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Prices are shown before you subscribe. If we change a price, we will notify you before the change applies to your renewal. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy at /refund.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, do not attempt to bypass parental controls, reverse engineer or interfere with the Service, resell or share access outside your household, use automated tools to scrape our systems, or use SafeStream for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, put children at risk, or threaten the security of the Service.

SafeStream's AI curator searches public sources, including YouTube, and returns candidate videos for you to review. We do not own, host, or control that content, and the rights remain with the original creators and platforms.

You decide what enters your child's library. While our filters — language, music, age, and values rules — are designed to remove content that does not match your settings, no filter is perfect. You remain responsible for approving each video, and your use of third-party content is also subject to that platform's own terms.

If you find content in the Service that should not be there, report it through the Safety Center and we will review it.

The SafeStream name, logo, software, design, and curation systems belong to SafeStream. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your family for as long as your subscription is active. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how children's information is handled, and the choices you have. It forms part of these terms.

The Service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every filter will catch every unsuitable video.

To the extent permitted by law, SafeStream is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use SafeStream after that means you accept the updated terms.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless local consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
